NY 2016

Because of the Lord's great love, we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion, therefore, I will wait for Him." Lamentations 3:22:24

My mind spilled over this Steve Jobs' something... *The Purs uit of iHappiness Apple co-founder Steve Jobs did not leave behind a deathbed warning about how the "non-stop pursuit of wealth will only turn a person into a twisted being, just like me." Dan Evon yesterday SHARE   3.8K CLAIM:  Apple co-founder Steve Jobs left behind a deathbed essay about how the "non-stop pursuit of wealth will only turn a person into a twisted being, just like me." FALSE EXAMPLE:   [ Collected via e-mail, October 2015 ] I saw this on Facebook — are these really Steve Jobs' last words? He called himself a "twisted being"? They're great, just want to make sure he really said that before sharing, whether they were his last words or not. ORIGINS:  In November 2015, a rumor began circulating on social media that when Apple co-founder Steve Jobs passed away at age 56 in 2011, he delivered a speech or left behind a deathbed ...

M*m Feel

S*r**s Dear. This is our first trime together. A rough start. Unexpectedly. Caught off guard. Mommy had no plans yet but I have to keep you.       All our first time. You are the first to try Mommy's womb. Everything for Mommy was all so frantically scary first-time. Mommy is at odds with the circumstances so Mommy, S*r**s dear, is panicking. She cries on her shoulders when no one hears, releases the feeling  of lonesomeness in the dark. You've got to bear with Mommy.      But she is joyous to have you. She'll get over about everything bothering her at the moment.       Mommy loves you. You are staying with Mommy...

Yippee Kiyay

I rushed from work thru the traffic late at night to chance on your nearness. Because we are sisters.      Don't mention,                      by blood.      You left your peers in the midst of social's night and pound the pavement with your three-inch pumps that you took off to get to me faster. And we met in a convenience store (thanks for its famed name we used as landmark ) in your blackened soles. You greeted me how skinny I was, even skinnier the last time you saw me. We exited ourselves, with our hands clasped together, and looked for the nearest fastfood (sorry health but we aftered for for the fastness of food service).            Chats. Chats. Chats.      The darkness in a quick passing budded into a farewell morning. You paid (with your student allowance from father) us our breakfast fastly eaten as we could over ...

Robin Sharma  <wisdom@robinsharma.com> To Crista M. Iguid Oct 18 at 7:40  AM Language is powerful. The words we use drive the deeds we do. Call a condition a problem and you get to reply to it from the position of a victim. Speak an excuse, and you get to deliver your power to it, sometimes for a lifetime. Words can destroy people's confidence, provoke their greatness, electrify your performance and free entire nations. Maybe two of the best ones to recite to automaticity so they become a part of your vocabulary are... ... Just start . ...nothing happens until you move! And once you do, life begins to put the wind behind your sails. The Muse comes out to play. Your best self starts revealing more of its higher nature. So...Crista... --just start the needle-moving project that will rewire your career --just start the conversation needed to forgive the unforgiven --just start the run that will become your marathon --just ...

The Big "F"

On October 25...        I have this very bad attitude I disdainfully deny but with life's lessons, I am earning the bravery of admitting it. I hardly forget people who wrong me. Everything excruciatingly painful. The retaliation: the I-don't-care-attitude towards you. I don't see you. I don't hear you.      I have read about stories of forgiveness a zillion times, heard about the enlightened hearts after letting go and attended enhancing workshops about being a Christian yet the struggle of setting myself free from holding grudges have imprisoned me for a long time.      Designed by Him that a life ends. The people I haven't talked to for the longest time remained never to be talked with. They're gone. Messages constructed unread. This I would not want to happen.      So while I can see and hear, I wanna reach out...      Everyone dies.      One day, it would be me. It would ...

My Teachers

They were somebody's Madam and Sir. He is somebody's math teacher. She is somebody's adviser. She can pinch you to blue.  At home, they are our parents. I also had my own set of teachers who molded me into what I am now- strong and passionate with my choice of life.  Thank you L-rd for putting them into our lives not only as our math teacher or adviser for a year but a lifetime.
